What COVID taught me

I recently caught myself mid-conversation the other day saying how terrible COVID was and how I never wanted to go back there.

But then I paused and corrected myself.

Because, honestly, without COVID, I wouldn’t be here. I wouldn’t be who I am now, living this life I’m living.

That time was a wake-up call.

It pushed me to my limit and made me realize something was seriously off. I was stretched too thin, juggling too many hats, prioritizing everyone else’s needs, and losing myself in the process. I was frustrated, tired, and disconnected from the joy life was meant to bring.

So, thank you, COVID. Thank you for those moments, those lessons. You fast-tracked my growth by years and shifted my path in the best way possible.

I’m deeply grateful for where I am now and everything that led me here. Life really does have a way of working in our favour, even when it doesn’t feel like it at first.

Can you relate?
